We all love simple heart warming meals after a long days work. Something that requires less ingredients, that is quick to make without anything much to do and that is really very tasty.

Today’s recipe is Stir Fried Vegetable Noodles dedicated for all the bachelors and working ladies out there, looking for easy and yummy recipes. This mouthwatering dish is very easy to make and is very healthy to eat.


Non vegetarian lovers do not get disheartened. The same recipe can be made with chicken and eggs.

So without wasting any time, lets move on to the recipe.


Prep Time: 10 mins                Cook Time: 10 mins                  Serves: 2 – 3


Boiled whole wheat spaghetti – 2 bowls

Onion – 1 sliced

Carrot – 1 chopped in round shape

Capsicum – 1 sliced

Broccoli – few florets

Garlic – 3 to 5 finely chopped

Spring onion green – 2 tbsp

Red chilli sauce – 2 tbsp

Rice wine vinegar – 1 tbsp

Soya sauce – 2 tbsp

Salt – to taste

Pepper – to taste

Oil – 2 tbsp

Roasted peanuts – optional



Heat oil in a wok. Once heated, add in finely chopped garlic and fry till the garlic turns to golden colour. Then add the sliced onion and fry for 2 mins or so till transparent.

Once the onions are transparent,  throw in the carrots and capsicum and toss them well for 2 mins. Then pour in all the sauces and season it with salt and pepper. Mix well and toss in the boiled whole wheat spaghetti till well blended with vegetables and sauces. Be careful that you do not smash the noodles in the tossing process.

Toss in chopped spring onion greens and roasted peanuts. Stir fried vegetable noodles is now ready to serve.



Chopped chicken breasts and eggs can be added to this recipe. Cook them separately in the wok and add it to the stir fried vegetables just before adding the sauces.

Sesame seeds can be used instead of roasted peanuts as garnish for your noodles.

Vegetables like baby corn and mushrooms can also be added to this dish.

If you do not have rice wine vinegar, you can use normal white vinegar in the sauce.
